Received a call this morning from this number, Medford Housing with a Ma. number, I'm in California! Also on the do not call list which apparently is a farce in itself.
This is a scam caller - I answered, and a recording said that they would lower my interest rate if I pressed one. Never mentioned a company, and they most certainly are not my credit company. So, I pressed one as instructed to tell the person to take me off their list and to call them out on the scam they are running. The guy kept repeating over me "this is not a scam, this is not a scam" to the point where I don't know if he got the "take me off your call list" part. But I most definitely want them to be a known phoney that people can look up and see it's 100% fake.
WARNING--BEWARE!! This old spoofed number is CURRENTLY being used by B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give your credit card number to these lowlifes, or you will regret it forever!
