DO NOT sign up for a free trial of Constant Contact. I have been checking out email marketing tools and tried a few out. while they all make you sign up for a free trial period, Constant Contact are the only ones who have begun emailing and calling daily using high pressure sales tactics to try and get you to sign up for the full service.
Yes - I foolishly signed up for the demo to see how it compared to our existing email provider, and the salesman has called 4 times in under a week. We are small business and I literally have not had the time to check it out....However, I am so put off by the sales calls that I will likely skip it all together. I have no problem with a person or company making a buck, but this is way overboard and highly off-putting.
