Same experience as David H described. Unsolicited call, supposedly from Lahey Health, asking me to confirm my personal information before they would tell me the reason they were calling. Declined and hung up.
It is lahey clinic. called number it's their main number and got an automated list of people to talk to (billing, doctors, ect). Even with this, I did look up their main line to the clinic near me and called them back that way.
I didn't recognize the number and let the call go to voice mail. No message was left. I called back this number from a different phone and reached an automated attendant for Lahey Health's Business Office.
This is from Lahey financial department. I call the number back, not from my phone, and pushed #2. It then asked me for my phone number, which I entered 000-000-0000 two times. It then transferred me to a person where I told him I had talked with someone last week about my bill. I then asked why was I being called again one week later. He told me it's the computer that chooses then numbers to call. I told him, "then what you are saying is I am going to be called every week till the bill is paid off?". He said he didn't know unless he can look at my account and asked me for my info, which I wasn't about to give. I then told him I am going to have to block the call because if I am going to be called every week till the bill is paid then that is harassment. He kept on asking me for my info but I am suborn and wouldn't give it up. I thanked him for letting me know I was going to be harassed by his department then hung up and blocked the number.
