My sweetie just got the same text message, but the number it came FROM was 781-249-3270. She was told to call 781-934-3000. We do have a CU account, with separate cards, and I did not get this text message.
This is a scam! I have a CU acct and just saw their warning notice on their website. They say on the messages people get it states: “Your ATM card has been DEACTIVATED. Please call FCU card Services line,
(781) 934‐3000.“
Please DO NOT call the number or provide any personal information, especially
your card number and PIN.
If you do call the number it states
Thank you for contacting the Credit Union. Due to a recent upgrade we need for
you to reactivate your card. We can do this for you right now. Please enter your
card number, expiration date, 4 digit pin number.” Call ends with “Thank you your
card is now active”
Again it's a scam!!!! DO NOT RESPOND!!!!! A bank or CU NEVER asks that type of info!!
