Received a call from 804-201-4944 I let it go to voice mail 8 times now, hum, seems these scammers can't keep up with there own "this is the second attempt to contact you"
Received a call that went to voicemail. An automated voice said this was a second attempt to notify me of a federal matter and I needed to call back to get a case number and speak to someone. Phone rang over 30 times but no one answered. Suspect it is a scam.

This is one of several I have received over the last two to three weeks. The government sends letters if there is an issue, they don't call, you can call the government but they don't call you to discuss any issues.

I have received a total of three calls in the last 2 days. All three calls left voicemails. The best part was at the end of the last two voicemails an automated voice said, "If you don't return the call, then the only thing I can do is, wish you good luck."
Call went to voicemail, after checking it it said that this is the final attempt to contact me in regards to this federal alligation. Of course I'm freaked out so I called back only to get an Asian woman by the name of "Catherine Brown" ( Asian, I said) and she begins to ask me if I am a Lindsey Miller, I said no you must have a wrong number. She began telling me that I was under investigation for tax evasion. I said wait, what! I do my taxes every year and I'm not a tax fraudulent person. I said I am confused what you are accusing me of. She gave me an old address of where I lived so now I'm really freaked out . I assume this is a total scam because of the other responses but am calling the IRS just to make sure. What the hell is wrong with people?
