I had Coventry for 2 years. They send you a letter telling you that someone will be calling. Yes they want to send a nurse to your home. Yes they are pushy. But no, you do not need to let them come. They got too pushy with me and I simply told the girl to remove my name and number off the list or we would be talking to a judge about a TCPA lawsuit. They stopped calling after that. I have no idea what they need or want to do this for. And by the way I had a Medicare Advantage Plan not Affordable Care (nicknamed obamacare)
A lady said she was with Coventry. They added a new benefit where a nurse comes to the house and takes my vitals and talks about the medication I am taking. I declined because a little voice told me this was not legit. Plus the fact she called at 8:45 pm.
It is totally legit. I had a nurse come out to my home. They are trying to get a jump on any medical conditions, any problems with meds you maybe taking, etc. etc. then they send it on to your PCP
