This foreign caller kept insisting I was a female and getting mad. I kept asking who this was and they would not tell me. Then said they would see me in court. If they can't identify themselves, neither will I.

While West Asset Managment has its headquarters in Nebraska, its collection activities span nationwide. Along with those collection activities are numerous allegations of violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. There have been allegations of improper disclosures to third parties. There have also been allegations that collectors were calling consumers at their place of employment despite warning that calls could not be received there. Some consumers have alleged that West Asset harassed and abused consumers, and there have been allegations that West Asset Management made voluminous calls to consumers unecessarily

This number has called my son and daughter, saying they are with united recovery service and need to talk with me right away about allegations filed against me, of course this got my kids upset. They call both of them every day and now they are calling their work.
