Called to offer a warranty on my car. Upon telling him I no longer owned the car he hung up on me.

Best thing I ever did was hook a fax machine to my landline - if I make the mistake of answering this kind of call (this phone is on my desk & doesn't have a caller ID screen), I just press Start & they can listen to the screech.

Be careful, a smart-alec scammer might recognize the fax tones and start sending black faxes.
