Called 4 times in the last hour. First two calls said unavailable, 2nd two calls showed Ashland, VA. Let machine handle all 4 calls, no messages left....
Got a call just a minute ago. Got a recorded message which didn't identify who was calling or why but just said that I should wait for the next available agent and that could take a "few moments." I was sure it was a scam but stayed on the line for a few seconds just to see what the person would say. I hung up before anyone answered. According to some of the comments on here, it's re Medicare and I just became eligible for Medicare 11/1. Have gotten tons of stuff in the mail the last few months from various insurers who want me to sign up with them and apparently they are now calling on the phone.
