Received call at 9:49 am -- early for a scam call. A man's voice said hello, other voices in the background, then he disappeared. Thanks to all the comments here, I blocked the number
I got a call from 804-409-3137 at 11:44 am on March 28, 2017, a bit earlier than telemarketers usually call. The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on. My caller ID said, "Out of area," which is usually a sure sign of a telemarketer. Don't legitimate businesses use their real name for their caller ID? I would think so. Also, if it was a legitimate call wouldn't most business people leave a message? I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years.
