Who called from 8044824030

I have received the same message stating, "that an attachment has been made to my name and social security number".  I called back (blocking my number, of course) and asked the name of the organization.  The lady I spoke with told me she needs my phone number and name, I told her, before i give you that information I would like the name of your company, she replied, I can not give you any information until you give me your information.  I replied, no, first identify yourself, the name of the organization, and the nature of your business. She replied with anger, no i will not give you the information, now give me your name and phone number.  I replied, it is obvious that this is a scam and to check the internet and with the FCC because this number has been identified as fradulant, she immediately hung up.

Thank you for posting everyone.  Just received another message on my work phone but I ignored it.  Stated they received a fax order to serve documents at place of residence or work.  But I could rectify it out of court.  Final robot voice states "officially been notified".   This had me so worried, I might actually pick up next time and get them on the defensive of giving me some information.  Thanks again.

Any company that you took a loan or payday loan from sells your information without your knowledge. It sells to anybody who will pay a small fee. So then you get the call for a legal action against your name. Just tell them you don't have any loans out and since you have there number on caller ID you will there local police if they call back. The first scam notice is the Indians and the broken language. Unfortunately its been an India based group. Half the time there number is not in service when you call back.  Anybody want more info email me at [email protected]

i have had the same call about 3 times at work i have been calling audey salster back after a while she gave me her name. she says call is recorded and will not give account number or anything at all about what she is calling about just wants money and keeps saying well judge will make you pay it. i have been keeping track of phone calls. the only worry i have is she has my ssn and somehow my ex wife verified who i was. i have contacted the ftc and county attorney on this and not much they can do because she wont give any other information
