I keep getting a call from this number multiple times a day repeatedly. I also get one from 804-335-0259. I have blocked both of these numbers since there is no name and they never leave a message. They start calling around 8:15am and end around 5:25pm. I was just on a phone call and my phone beeped. I looked and there were 5 (FIVE) blocked calls within 1 (ONE) minute. No voicemail was left of course. I googled the number and I am finding it looks like "Verizon Collections" but appears maybe some form of a scam. I used to work in collections in the state of Virginia - which the area these calls originate from is around Richmond, VA. The company I worked for taught us that Virginia law claims you cannot make more than one late call per week for collections. I know you cannot make multiple phone calls daily like this if it is in fact collections. It is considered harassment. My bill is up to date so, I highly doubt this is a legitimate phone call. I am keeping this number blocked and refuse to answer. If it is important, they can leave a message. BEWARE of these phone numbers!!!
This is not actually Verizon - they are trying to get your information, they are not reporting accurate account information, and they don't actually know the name of the person on the account.
the message was supposedly from Verizon Wireless it said this is not a collection call this is not a marketing or sales call your conversation will be recorded and then a recorded message ask for my verizon wireless account name..which was correct. I just hung up before a live person came onto the line.
Have payment arrangement with Verizon, but they won't stop calling.....6 times a day.....doesn't anybody read what is written in account info? I want tehm to stop calling me.
I am sick to death of these ridiculous constant calls....doesn't matter what you do, or how you agree to pay, they just keep calling.....I hope every collection agency rots in he----
