A man named "Dave" called claiming to be from the National Association Of Paralyzed Police and wanted a $35 to $100 donation. I asked if this was the same association as National Chiefs of Police, "Dave" said no. Also aksed how much donation actually gets to charity. "Dave" said 11%. I could not find a National Association of Paralyzed Police anywhere. Be on guard for this call and "Dave".
Just got a call but didn't answer. After reading these posts I realize who is calling. My parents received a similar call a few months ago. After speaking with a friend who worked for the police, they told them they will never ask for donations over the phone. It will always come in the mail.
