These are usually a bait and switch sort of scam, targeting seniors.
The idea is to get you to think you have or can get some sort of "benefit" that you will find is not quite what it seems. You may or may not save any money, but the risk is that you be opening up your medical and person ID info to strangers who sent a text message. And people wonder how their ID is stolen? Or how they get 10 scam calls a day. Ignore these texts, and report them to your phone carrier.
