Would like to know who called me

On my cell phone, I didn't hear it, jst as well it seems, saw it later on my screen

Called and triggered my cell - left a message - but all I heard was backgorund noise - like from an office or shop. Most annoying.....

I believe the thing is running amok and is not being monitored by a human.
