What do they want? Easy, pal. Your money! As in selling you a worthless warranty extension for your '85 Honda Accord, or a crate of $40 lightbulbs, or whatever. And if they can't scam you directly, then the fact that you answered the call tells them yours is a "live" number. This information is a valuable commodity they can sell to others or reuse for a new scam. The antidote is, If you don't recognize the number, DON'T ANSWER THE FREAKIN' CALL! If the call is legit, fear not! They can always leave a message. Which keeps YOU in control.
