Phone rang with unknown caller (no caller ID) and went to voice mail. Voice message asked for a person (not me)and stated that they needed to serve papers. They said to call the party filing the papers at 832-225-3662 as the person they were calling needed to sign for service of the papers and then ended the call by saying, "you are notified". Sounds like a bill collector trying a new approach??

It might be a real place but it is a scam. They are violating the fair credit reporting act by threatening to serve papers at the person's 'place of employment'. Total scammers. I am going to the Attorney General's office. They call my number 2 or 3 times every few months to try again. I have never called them back and I won't unless the AG's office asks me to so I can get more info on the scam.
