Selling warranty for car we don't own any more. They get their information from the credit bureaus, believe it or not. I have gotten car warranty letters as well and on the back at the very bottom it says information received from credit bureaus. I don't think it works to call them either as I have done that before and still receive these stupid calls.
PIcked up this call knowing it was probably telemarketing but I was feeling in the mood to have it out with someone. Unfortunately, an automated voice saying "This is Jim Stone and the warranty on your Nissan Maxima is about to expire" That's too bad, but I don't care because I have not owned that car in 3.5 years. I simply said "NO" to each robo question and it hung up.
I received 2 calls in a row from this number. I called back and was given the opportunity to have my number added their do not call list, but I was unable to he transferred to a live person. I don't know what this call was for.
