Thank you PB!! I get these calls multiple times a day. Sometimes there is someone on the other end and I request to be removed from call list. Obviously they didn't or I would t be writing this post. But many times I answer then get disconnected.
Used this number. Of course it wasn't "Mike" that answered, it was "Dave". Mike was unavailable. I use their names in quotes because they ARE FICTIOUS names. It's Alliance Home Security. CEO is Jasjit Gotra. Of course when I told him to not have me contacted again he called back not once, but twice. I explained to him that I didn't block my number on purpose. And that now if they call me again from ANY number that I would be sure that they would be fined/sanctioned in addition would be charged with harassment.
My caller ID stated: Cel Phone TX, 12:35 PM, 5/27/17, 832-335-7586. I wasn't home and saw the number on my missed calls list. I only know 1 family in Texas and they would have left a message. Push our President to shut these scammers down. He wants to create new jobs. He can hire federal agents to hunt them down, put them in jail and then torture them with ringing phones and fast busy signals for the rest of their paltry lives.
Robo call about “home security”. Robo lady aske several questions to which I answered yes (my objective is to get a real phone number and to waste as much time of theirs as I can). I was connected to Mike. He asked lots of questions about if I was the owner and decision maker and described a free wireless system that would cost $47.99 per month. I asked a few questions and let him describe the system in detail. I told him I was Ned Flanders and lived at 742 Evergreen Terrace, Springfield, Ohio. After I had him convinced I was going to get the system I asked him for his telephone number and he gave it to me!! 214-377-1353! He did a credit check on Ned Flanders and it came out low and he said he was going to call me back. I called him back at 214-377-1353 and Mike picked up! I told him that everything I told him was fictitious and I did it because the call centers are not maintaining a do not call list. He said he would put me on their do not call list but I pointed out that would do no good because I was transferred to him from the original call center. A least I am satisfied that I kept him tied up for 19 minutes!
If you are angry about these calls, I suggest you call Mike at 214-277-1353 and let him know how you feel.
