Calls all the time. Hangs up. I have it coded as "Police Officer Charity Scam" in my phone. Won't answer ever. Can't get off their call list. WAIT I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry. And they are calling my cell phone with a dialer (TCPA violation). Nope nothing can stop a rogue telemarketer. Charities are exempt. Telemarketers do not adhere to DNCR. CFPB is busy chasing Banks for big fines...not enforcing Do Not Call regulations. Yep. America is GREAT!
Just got a call from his number and sound like a Caucasian guy and he asked for me by first name and immediately I went into alert mode and said who is this? and he hung up..
Got the same call. Looks like they are calling a lot recently based on the dates of everyone's comments. He knew my name and asked for donation for cops. I hung up
