I answered. It was an Asian woman, possibly a recording, spoke for 5 seconds and then nothing. Only thing I said was Hello and then I listened and said nothing else.. they hung up first.
The call actually showed a very strange random group of numbers and started with a V then a bunch od random numbers. When I answered it was an Asian woman and sounded like a recording. Hearing of a scam where they want you to say "yes" then ship you stuff charged to your card, I just hung up. When I went back to check the number this one showed up..
Actually, I believe this may be V247 (v247mobile.com) which is a Vietnamese cellular phone services company using the AT&T network. Their toll free number is 855-855-8247 and headquartered in Houston. I happen to use them for my service (my wife is Vietnamese) and find it to be a good deal. $30 per month (no taxes, etc.) for unlimited talk and text plus $10 worth of international calling and unlimited data albeit throttled to maximum speed of 128 kbps after 3GB.
