Received call from 832-702-7846 and they left a message stating that they were from the US Treasury Dept due to fraud against my name(didn't state my name) and if I didn't call back they would press charges against me. Is this really fraud?????
Phone call came in from Spring, TX, but I didn't pick up. They left a voice message saying they were from the US treasury. They said that ignoring this call would be considered an attempt to avoid appearance before a magistrate and I would be prosecuted. I attempted to look up the number under a reverse phone look-up, but they report that it is not a working number. Clearly this is a scammer. BEWARE!
