Did not want to talk to my answering machine ... so, now blocked.

2-ring hangup this time.  Did not wait for my answering machine or call blocker to kick in.

I got three calls from this time yesterday. One was at 9:00pm!!! Though the caller ID lists it as "Research TX", I am absolutely sure it is a scammer's number.

Didn't leave message.  Called them back later, got a recording, pressed 1 to be removed from calling list. Forgot what caller ID said, something "Research."  Collecting opinions to help guide the direction of our country, or somesuch.
