Received a call and because I was away from my phone I missed the call (I would have answered because it was "local"). They left a message indicating they were either a law firm or CPA firm (had a list of names in the title). Said they wanted to speak with a "financial manager" (there is none here, just me). Since they didn't ask for my business name or me by name, I assume this is a spam or sales call.

Since they didn't ask for my business name or me by name, I assume this is a spam or sales call.
Upon further investigation, it is a law firm specializing in debt collection. Since I have no late bills, no outstanding debts that need collecting (and I assume if they WERE collecting on me they would state so), I have to assume they are trying to drum up business (and want me to hire them to send them after my "delinquent" clients). I have no real delinquent clients, so again, calling it spam.
