I GOT A CALL TELLING ME THERE WERE ALL KINDS OF VIRUSES ON MY COMPUTER AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO GET IN FRONT OF MY COMPUTER RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THESES VIRUSES WOULD DESTROY MY HARD DRIVE AND TOTALLY DESTROY MY COMPUTER. WHEN I TOLD HIM, I HAVE SOMEONE WHO TAKES CARE OF MY COMPUTER, HE ASKED ME IF HE WAS A LICENSED TECHNICIAN AND I SAID YES, THEN HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY AND HUNG UP.
After I read the phone number of the caller from this number, I assumed this was a call from a telemarketer. When I answered, I immediately answered with "Don't call here", a man with an eastern Indian accent then said, "If you don't want me to call, then why are you subscribed to this number?" (A strange & weird reply)
I asked him what he said, because I couldn't believe the mind-game he playing on me. And I aske why he was calling. He said, "Are you hard of hearing. If you don't want calls then why are subscribed to this number?" I paused, thinking and said "You are rude." He said, "You are rude for telling me not to call this number. I am rude because you are rude." I said, "You're revengeful."
I asked him to tell me the name of the company he works with and he snorkeled. He repeated what he said, that he'd call my number because I subscribe to it. I said "I'll keep you on the line so you won't bother anybody else". He hung up.
Then the same man called me right back from the same number. I asked him the purpose of this call. He said "Why should I tell you?" I asked him "Are you drunk?" He said "No" I told him that "My husband is listening in with our speaker phone. I see you're calling from New Jersey, and I'm going to report this call to the police." He hung up.
He sounded bored & immature, and that's why he tried to pick a fight with a potential customer.
