Received two calls this morning from this number. I did not answer and they did not leave a message on my voicemail. The reason I did not answer is that my caller id showed "Do Not Pickup" as the name of the person calling. I assumed it was some sort of scam.
Received call to voice mail from 856-204-0000; number looked strange to start; no message or info left. First time I've seen this inbound number on our system.
Received phone call at work from this number but when I answered they hung up. They called right back and asked for me by my full name, when I said YES they hung up.
Called our call center asking for someone, but I could not understand the name. I tried to make sure he was calling the right place by asking what business he was trying to reach and he hung up. Call came up Vineland, NJ.
Looks like I'm joining an ever growing group of people who have received this strange phone call. The caller (seemed to have a heavy SE Asian accent) called my business line asking for me by first and last name. But not my birth first name, which I find odd. Anyways, he told my receptionist that he was from FedEx and had a package to send me from one of my clients (he gave the client name too). Again really strange because it was an old client that I haven't done business with in a few years. They hung up twice on my receptionist when she tried to push for more information. When she finally passed it to me, there was a break or pause in the connection and the caller came out asking for me by name. I said, "This is {first and last name}" and the caller asked again if I was {my name] and I said, "Yes." He hung up immediately. I called the number back and got that it (856-204-0000 from Vineland) was connected to Magic Jack. I live chatted with a Magic Jack technician and he confirmed that there was no file with my name. So it's not coming directly from Magic Jack. This is all very disturbing.
