Keep getting calls from 856-229-9193 claiming to be from Google with a warning that somehow my customers won't be able to find me unless I do something. I pressed the number to be connected to someone. As soon as I started to ask her what this was about, she hung up on me. I called back and got a recording to press 1 to be removed. I did - we'll see.

I haven't answered two of these calls and they did not leave a message. Based on all the remarks here, I have just blocked the number on my cell phone.
Several of you have mentioned you think you were contacted as a result of your business. Not me. I am starting a small online business and have worked with GoDaddy to help get my commercial website built. But I have not yet registered my business! So I'm guessing the connection is more likely related to building a website and registering domain names.
Thanks, everyone. I appreciate our pooling together our experiences with robo-callers who not only lie about who they are, but have the bad taste (and poor con skills) to be rude to potential "clients." You've saved me time and that number is officially blocked as of now.
These people call my business weekly even though i have pushed please remove me from the list many times as well as spoken to agents and they stated they would remove my number. I cant believe anyone would fall for their double speak about representing yahoo google and bing.. they want to sell you a free website and search engine optimization. How can you possibly do business with someone that starts of their cold call with a blatant be it veiled lie?
