Do No Call registry is a federal program and only stops legitimate interstate calls, not calls from within the state. And you have to renew your participation in the DNC Registry every 5 years.
same here,12 times this week always noon to 1700 hours, I have gotten to where my land lines has our answering machine turned off and fax machine picking it up if not home and if home we don't pick it up
make it 12 times this week, 4 times today between 12:00 and 13:00 hours

This is info concerning the NJ Do Not Call Law. Other states may have similar law. Basically, if you registered with FCC Do Not Call service you are covered under the state law; you do not have to register your phone #(s) again with the state. If you don't live in NJ, check with your state govt for similar law.
