Am registered with the national do not call list, but it doesn't stop these people. They called from this number & it looked official on my caller I.D. it said "Home security WCA I answered & there was no one on the other end. Simply nothing. I've gotten many of these crank calls lately so anymore I check my caller I.D. & if I don't know the number I just don't answer. Thank GOD for caller I.D. & voice mail. I think these guys are targeting older people like me who they might be able to scare them into a scam of sorts, but I'm not that old yet.
An aboslutely vicious method of calling people at any time and for a fraudul reason. If it would have been a legitimate ad company they would have annonce themselves. What these person do is deriving sadistic pleasure from bothering people. It is necessary to find out who they are and put them to jail. From there they would not be able to call at all.
Got a call from this number. Called back and it says that it is to thank you for registering for a drawing. I did not register for a drawing. It than states to opt out choose option 2. When you choose option 2, the automated system says that option 2 is an invalid response, than it repeats the whole sales pitch again.
