Got a call from this number today. When I was transferred to a live person, I asked to be taken off the call list as I was not interested. He then began asking me if I was a virgin. I was sure I was misunderstanding, as he had a thick accent, but he then asked how old I was. When I asked why he needed this information, he told me it was because I had a sexy voice, and proceeded to tell me, in very graphic terms, what he wanted to do to me. Really?!?
I called back to find out what company this was and got a recording that the number was out of order.
I answered the call. It is a credit card scam. I listened to the message, and pressed one to be connected to a representative. A man with an accent that sounded Indian answered and identified himself as "Mark Anthony". When I told him I was on the "Do not call Registry" he said, "tough luck a$$hole", and he hung up. What needs to be done to stop these people?
This number has called me numerous times while I'm at work and I never can answer. They never leave a message and always call around the same time. From what I'm reading above, I don't wanna call back.
