This number has been calling me everyday for the last 6 months. They are looking for someone named Vivian. That is not me, nor anyone in my family, residence or friends. I have had the number for over 10 years. Each time I speak to them, I tell them it's the wrong number and I know no one by that name and to please stop calling my number. They still call. What do I do now?
Of course they need to keep calling to remind you. Thats what happens when you dont pay your bills. You get calls every day from collections. Pay your bills and the calls will stop
Thanks for your comments. I agree that those who have the means to pay legitimate obligations and elect to not pay should have their phones constantly ringing or worse. With all due respect you are ignoring the fact millions of Americans through no fault of their own currently CAN’T service all of their obligations. It is seldom wise to use a one size fits all label.
Just rec'd first phone call from this number. Person was attempting to contact my husband's niece. Stated the niece had provided our home number as a 'contact' number. Strange since we don't even speak to this family member. Needless to say just because a 'bill collector' calls one's home it doesn't mean you're necessarily in arrears. I've no intention of answering any further calls from this entity.
