The Tri-plex claimed that they put the wrong bank's name on my loan. Asked me to come in and sign fresh paperwork. I told them to fax the new agreement to my lawyer. They freaked and said that they weren't allowed to fax it. I said no problem, his office is 10 minutes from the dealership, drop it off and after he green lights it, I sign. We went into a two week stand-off. They threatened everything to get me to come in. Lawyer discovered that they have a history of this, The idea is to get you to return and sign on less favorable terms paying more for the car. After my lawyer talked to their lawyer, the actually produced a new loan agreement with equal terms. I have good credit and was able to get an online loan for the same amount in a matter of minutes, We offered them to pay cash (other loan) if they had a problem with their bank. Never again! And yes, I still get calls from them trying to sell me a new car. Love my Outlander. Hate what they put me through.
