This number has been calling the business # for about two weeks now. They are asking for a person who I never have heard of. Caller ID- read- Pioneer Credit. I will not answer & I will not call them to tell them anything.
I just got a ANOTHER call from 856-437-1499 on my cell phone at about 3:30 PM today. The caller ID said "NJ" (just like the June 17, 2014 call, however this time I did NOT answer the call. This time the female caller left a message saying--
"Hi my name is Garison Cambell and my message is for "male first name" or "female first name" "**last name**" . Please call me back at 888-459-9522 ext 20855."
Just like the last call I received from 856-437-1499 on June 17 one of the names the caller mentions was MY name, but the other was NOT anyone I would know and again, I DO NOT know who that person is is (its not anyone I would know or a family member or anyone related to me).
When I did a Google Search for the number left in the voicemail (888-459-9522) one of the search results mentioned that:
the number 1-888-459-9522 is Pioneer Credit Recovery located at 26 Edward St. Arcade, NY 14009 Office phone (585) 492-1234 When they call it comes from UNKNOWN. They have been hired to collect New Jersey Income Tax for the State of New Jersey as one of their big projects.

Not only don't I know the other person mentioned in the voicemail, but I also DO NOT owe nor have EVER owed any back taxes (state or federal). So not sure if this is a wrong number/wrong information call or a phishing scam.
If its THAT important they will send me a letter in the mail-- with only my name on it and to my correct address.
Caller asked me if I do tax return of a named person. When I said yes, caller ask me to provide a power of attorney for my client. Being an absurd request, I told him that my client has to ask for it and then client Will sign the power of attorney. Then the person asked me to provide client's telephone number. I told him his request is very Strange and unethical. The caller then thanked me and hung up. I check caller ID WHICH says debt collector.
Keep calling stating my husband has a credit outstanding with HPM Landscaping (apparently someone with the same name as his owns this company and has bad credit). I have told them repeatedly that we do not own this company, nor have any dealings with this company, as it is in a totally different locale from where we live. They are thick headed. The age of the owner of the company is like 30 years younger than my husband.
