Who called from 8565542787

Hey, I have an investigator from a local prosecutor's office (where the telephone charges are billed to) looking into this for me. He asked anyone who has called this number and has been charge for this call or calls or if you think you called this number and you are going to be charged on your next statement to please call him @ 800-749-5902 Ext 7066 or 856-225-8400 Ext 7066.

Joining in...I too got this message after a Craigs Listing.  WTH?

Anyway, here's the text:

"Hello I am very interested in your ad on Craigslist could I ask you to give me a quick call? 856 554 2787 Thanks Mark I won\'t be near a pc today"

Reporting this to Craigs List.

Put an ad on craigslist for a property for rent and got this e-mail:

"I saw the ad you placed on Craigslist and want very much to speak to you.
Please call 856 554 2787
anytime today, as I won\'t be near my PC Mark"

I called the number and it is disconnected.

Obviously a scam but to what end?

How does anyone get a billing phone number with a regular area code?  If you know, it would be good to post.  Thanks.
