Caller ID "New Jersey" was a Car Dealer Warranty scammer that called my cell. I hung up after the first few words which sounded exactly like the same scam call yesterday as "Massachusetts" from 339-216-1098. (I am waiting for a call as I usually don't answer unknown numbers). My vehicle is 2006, so that's a joke right there.
Something about car warranties. I received a very similar call yesterday from (786) 509-6447. It's either a coincidence, or they are calling from two different numbers.
every day we get these same calls they call and we answer they never say a word we call back and it will be silent or it will say no longer in service yet they just called LOL A total scam from NJ
This person has called me twice at my cell phone while I am at work. The guy is trying to be intimidating, telling me that my warranty on my car is about to expire and I need to talk to him to be able to extend my warranty. Only problem with that is that I had put an extended warranty(100,000 miles) at the time I bought my car. My car hasn't even got 70,000 miles on it yet. Can someone check out this guy, because some one else is very likely to fall for his routine.
