I just got the exact same call for the Smithsonian magazine...I however did say the word yes when I answered my phone with her saying my first name and if the magazine came intact...I did report this call to the Smithsonian. These callers are so annoying and catch you off guard!
called knew my first name and asked if my Smithsonian magazine came in good condition and if I would like to continue my subscription for the low price of $2.27 ...I believe that is the price they quoted...I said no thank you and they hung up.
Called 2 times today and yesterday as well..Not picking up the call....If I don't recognize the number I don't answer ...If it is important, they will leave a message
Called 4 times today (and usually a few times a day most days). I never answer but today I lost patience and answered. A young woman at $!#@ subscription service asking about my wife's subscription to tv guide. I told her (and another a few weeks earlier) to place us on their do not call list. I also told that neither my wife or I subscribe over the phone.... only by mail.
Hey, folks at tv guide. If you read this know that when I finally get annoyed enough by these robo calls, I'll cancel our tv guide subscription. My wife will miss the mag but it's simply too annoying doing business with you.
