I received a call from this company and a guy named "Mike" answered and was extremely rude. He came on the line and said 'client services', when I ask him to repeat it he became agressive and asked me if I was behind on my loan payments or not. Then he repeated my phone number and threatened to call me at three in the morning and ask me again. I told him I was on a no call list and he was breaking the law and he just threatened me some more and hung up.
My caller ID shows the caller's name as Carlos Gonzalez. This person is calling from Mullica Hill, New Jersey. Email the New Jersey office of consumer affairs or NJ state attorney general's office with complaint requesting caller be investigated and send a copy to your own state consumer office or state attorney's office.
Just the same old lame a$$ scam operation going around. Looking to take someone for a $1K - $3K 'ride'.
On call back, the number is a faked / spoofed number. Can't reach a live body nor can you leave a message for these idiots.
Calling about mortgages with lower interest rates. It seems to me like a scam company for reasons I explain here. Usually I would not answer, but I have had a dozen calls from telemarketers in the last 2 days, am getting fed up with that, and am trying to get this sort of activity stopped. This one played a recorded message. When I pressed 1 to speak to a live person and asked to get off their list, the guy claimed that I called him on his cell phone (rather than them calling me which is what really happened). When I spoke about being on the Do Not Call list, he told me I was speaking gibberish and to never call him again. As this appears to be some sort of scam outfit, my personal opinion is that you should likely avoid them, and should report them to the FCC. I am on the National DNC list, so apparently they don't care who they call. Also I currently do not have a mortgage, so they must be just cold calling folks at random.
