I purchased Children's book from this company since 11-4-08, and to this day i have not received these books. I have tried calling the number on the receipt provided and have not been able to find anyone to answer my call and i,m not sure if this number exist.
I donated my subscription to All Childrens Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida. It's a shame the children will never get the books that were supose to go there.
Same story. Two black girls came, I gave them a $48 check to order a magazine. I never received it. The worest thing is that, in my house, they stole my wife's check book. Using the check book, they ordered a lot of goods by using fake signatures on these checks. These checks have been cashed from our bank account. I reported to the bank, now the issue is under investigation, hoppfully, I can get these money back. Never help pepople like this.
They probably did not steal a checkbook. That is what I thought at first, but I couldn't see how that could happen since I never left them. The bank explained that all the girls needed was my info from the check that I gave them in payment for the order. They would then print their own checks and write away.... I do not think the girls were that smart but their crew boss was. The checks, five of them were all pay to Millineum, but then a larger check was written to a private individual. I attempted to contact Millineum by phone and email,but guess what??????no response!
These guys are major scam artists. The phone number on the receipt will never be answered. The email contact page on their website will only be answered with an auto generated message that says that they will be in contact with you in the next few days- which never happens. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they made a copy of a check or them and told them they had sent it to me which they didn't (the check they said they sent was for less than what I paid anyway). If you get taken by these scam artists my recommendation is file a complaint with the FBI and provide them a link to this page so they can see how many people they are scamming and can shut them down for good.
