the number kept on calling asking for this one woman and i was all hello im no woman and idk the woman your even talking about. so i called back and they said they are removing me from the system immediatly. thats all.. hopefully i stop getting calls from her armys of dumbasses
women asked for my brother in law, or could just be a coincedence. he may have used my husband as a reference for something. i just told her she had the wrong number. i'm going to forward the information to him and have him call I'll let you know if i find out anything.
I get calls from this number numerous times a day (although thankfully it's usually when I'm at work, I just see they called on my caller ID). Sometimes they leave a computerized message for someone who's not me (and it's the same person, so I wonder if they used to have my number?) and it says "if this is not you, please hang up now. By staying on the line, you're confirming you're so-and-so and blah blah blah." It's ridiculous. I may just answer one of these days and tell them to STOP CALLING ME!!!
Got several calls that said that "by continuing to listen to this message" i was "confirming that i was [Name of Person I'm Not]" and that i owed a debt, etc. i called the number back and asked them not to call back. the number kept on calling. they are driving me mad. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get these calls too. They have all been a recording that asks me to dial 1 if I'm the person they are looking for or dial 2 if I'm not. I hang up every time and I suggest everyone else should as well. These are bogus calls, I don't owe anyone anything or behind in any payments anywere and after reading so many notes on line about this particular incident with so many people, it's obvious it's a scam. If you press either a 1 or a 2 or do anything they ask you to do, I seriously think you've jut allowed them to hijack your phone. In other words, when you press a number it allows them to use your number to call anywhere in the world they choose. This scam is old and has been used several different ways, where they will ask you to call an 800 or 888 or what ever number back to clear yourself. Once you dial that number from your phone, you've just opened your line for them to use your phone to place calls all over the world. Seems crazy but it's true and has been showing up in different formats. This is just a new one! These scammers have nothing better to do that think of clever ways to rip innocent people off! I've filed a complaint with the FCC, however doubt anything will ever become of it. Good Luck!
