You ask, what sort of bottom feeding troll takes a job harassing people in the privacy of their own homes? I HAVE BEEN OUT OF WORK FOR OVER EIGHT YEARS, AND I WOULD TAKE ANY JOB I CAN GET SO I CAN HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY FOOD, CLOTHING, AND SHELTER FOR MY FAMILY. Almost all of these telemarketers work on commission. They get X amount for every call they make, and get X+ for every one that buys into whatever it is they are selling. I'm sure you heard the old cliche "necessity is the mother of invention", and, I guess, when it is necessary to provide for your family, you are just about "forced" to become very "inventive". I grant you, what they are doing is a "joke", but not as big a "joke" as believing the economy is good and that jobs are available. If I am wrong in what I say:

2. Tell me where (IN THE UNITED STATES, AND NOT IN INDIA OR CHINA) can a seasoned IT professional with over 30 years experience can get employment

I did not answer this call when they DID call. A few hours later I called them back to be automatically put on hold tell me periodically that I was first the 2nd caller and next the 1st caller next. The first time I called I had told him I asked him what his call was about. He told me, in regular spoke english) that they were providers to lower my electric bill. I told him I never get an electric bill. And he hung up on me.
I called again and the usual wait of being the 2nd caller and then the 1st caller next and I asked the gentleman to take me off their calling list because I do not pay an electric bill. I asked him if he had my number and he did tell me what it was.
Hopefully, I will not hear from them again. But I know for sure I will get another unwanted call even though I am on the DNC list. I was wondering....Does the computer they are using to call people know we are on the DNC list?
actually it's ILLEGAL to record conversations in Florida unless BOTH parties are aware of the recording in progress! In NJ, NY only one party needs be aware.
