1-856-917-9000 called me on my cell claiming to be PHH mortgage and asking for my personal information-ss#, home address, etc. 1st off, the real PHH did not even have my cell #, it's also on the do not call registry anyway, and I sent the real PHH the paperwork ( and kept copies) stating I do not want my information shared within PHH, any affiliate, or anyone outside the company- the usual stuff everyone else probably doesn't read and throws away. The rep I spoke to could not repeat my phone #she called me on, couldn't tell me my loan number in all or even part, or tell me the address the loan was against, I informed the rep I do not wish to be called again, I thought she was a fraud and I was going to report her and her phone # as such. What an annoying PITA!

Just an FYI This is a legitimate company. PHH Mortgage or Mortgage Services is one of the top five employers in NJ. Could be telemarketers working there but not a scam.
