Woman called from a "recorded line" and asked for one of our employees. I explained that he cannot be reached by phone as he works out in the field but if her call had to do with our company's business, I'd put her through to someone who could help. She said it was personal business and I told her I could not help her further. She kept saying, "Well he left this # as a contact # so I should be able to speak to him." I told her that wasn't HER call and it wasn't his, either. She then had the nerve to ask me for his home #! I laughed at her and told her I CERTAINLY would never give out that kind of information. She then asked to speak to his "wife", "...or does SHE work out in the field, also??" I told her she obviously knew nothing about the persons she was trying to reach (they're divorced) and that I didn't have any time and was under no obligation to take "personal business calls" on behalf of my colleagues. When she began to protest, I cut her off and told her that I would NOT help her further and hung up.
These SCUM Call Constantly and never leave a message, I will NEVER answer. This Ed Overcash should be sued and dis-barred for harassing people. Maybe they read this Blog and see how tired people are of their calls and other types of harassment, but they probably couldn't care less.
These people are the worst. Wrong number ,wrong name, wrong debt. Reporting to FTC and my attorney. This kind of thing has to stop! I dont have time to do their job!
You said it. Even Satan doesn't want trash like this guy who buys up old debt for pennies and then tries to scare people like me into paying the full amount of the debt that a company has already charged off over 2 years ago. He's the perfect example of why people hate lawyers.
Ed Overcash Law Firm called today. I connected call but I didn't speak or say anything. Never do until an unknown caller identifies themselves. Male caller finally muttered something hateful about "they probably don't know how to use phone. " Then he abruptly disconnected. BTW I have an 813 Fico score and no past due accounts.
