Someone that lives in Greenville, SC needs to visit the Samsung Repair Service and ask to speak to the manager. Someone or one's there are making unnecessary and annoying calls to telephone numbers they have on file in their system. I contacted Samsung via Best Buy for warranty service couple years back and that's how my number is on their system I suppose.
Yesterday, Aug. 7th we got another call and after listening to the options, selected [3]. A man came on line, laughed and hung up.
We've had dozens of these in past couple years from different numbers traced to Greenville, SC.
I tried to register a compliant with AT&T but that appears to be impossible.
Samsung called my cell phone in response to my call to them about a microwave oven... weird thing is, my microwave over is not a Samsung, even weirder is i never called them, and the weirdest is that they knew my name and cell phone number.
WIithin the past 10 minutes I received 2 calls from 864-254-9600. These calls may have been from Samsung because the plasma screen was replaced under warranty for my 51" HDTV.
Unfortunately my call display showed only the number calling, and not the name of the caller. I do not answer the phone unless I know the identity of the caller.
I was told i was taking to a Canadian call centre and that they would be calling me back...... then i get this call from the states. Why oh why can they not be honest and tell me the truth. Last time i deal with Samsung.
