I just received a call from 864-297-4663, too. Like others here have said, the caller (in my instance her name was Amy White) does not identify what company she is with. She initially asked to talk to whoever handles gov't contracts. When I hesitated, she asked if we were a small business. When I said yes, she told me that she would need to talk to our CEO or president. I told her he wasn't available and she left the above number. Sounded fishy to me. Glad I stumbled across this site.
Got The same message and phone #. Chitham was the caller. I don't answer calls from strangers and after working with G-contracts most of my professional life I know what it takes. Definately a scam... This is the info I got for the phone #. The company name provides an idea of their literacy level and IQ:
Received an unsolicited, unwanted call from 727-373-9000 earlier this morning, leaving this 864 number to return her call. Caller identified herself as Nicole and left a message "regarding doing business with the Federal Government on a 1 year no-bid contract." Nicole did not leave her company name. Fishy.
We called back the 727 number to try to reach Nicole and ask to be put on their Do Not Call list, but we could never get through (no ring, no nothing). Also called this 864 number but reached only an answering machine for "the GSA Division at Federal Suppliers."
