Received this call this morning and we were both abrupt as I'm filing for bankruptcy and per my lawyer once the bank calls one time and is notified to contact my attorney they are legally not allowed to bug me again even a third party. Is this correct? When I wouldn't give her any info other than my name and wouldn't relent when she continued her inquiry, and then told her she wasn't allowed to harass (a word she objected to) me she said good bye.
This entire bankruptcy procedure is tedious and stressful enough with being harassed by people who are not going to get a cent. Thanks-
12:48p 8/22/11 Received a call from 864-331-5700 at my work, this same number shows on my cell # seconds later, my caller id shows Corley Plumbing but the woman said she was calling from Capitol Management. She stated she had a business matter to discuss with me and that she needed to verify my last four of my ssn. She said we have the first 3 which were correct but I gave her four false numbers and she said ok we have that. Then she asked for birth date I sorry I haven't the time for her. I googled Corley Plumbing company is out of South Carolina with the same area code, but the other numbers do not match listing.
I worked a crap [***] job like you do, like you say, just to pay MY bills so I don't have to hear from idiots like you! I didn't last long. I couldn't be that nasty! My supervisor was so nasty, mean and hateful on the line to "the people in the mirror" I could not believe my ears. I couldn't even try to do my own job because she was so loud and obnoxious!!! Young blond thing trying to act so cute and smart.NOT!!!!! I wasn't the only one there who hated their job! The more nasty you were, the more points you made. Hmm, makes sense to me.
Before you start judging people, GOD e761, people who owe debt are not paying it because "THEY DAMN WELL CAN'T"!!! We are not doing it just to hear the pleasure of your voice on the phone, calling at OUR place of employment. I hope you never have to go through the situations that I and many other unfortunate people who are barely making ends meet have to go through. Many of us did not personally do this. You are so pathetic! I have a high credit score, pay any bill I owe on time and have NEVER had any collections or otherwise against me. I get calls from people like you (I have recorded 405 calls since 01/01/2012 from collection companies just because my last name, or first name, matches one of their accounts), I give them my phone number and I am told..."We don't have that phone number attached to any account. We will take you off the list." Well, that never happens. I still get calls but what confuses the crap out of me is, IF YOU DON'T HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER IN YOUR LIST...WHY THE HELL DO I GET CALLS FROM YOU??? Your computer calls my number and they have to have it in a list in order to do so. So don't think that we are stupid and buy your self-righteous crap!
Your company and others like it violate state and federal collection laws EVERY DAMN DAY and really don't give a rats [***] about people like me whom you harass constantly and for no reason! While some people might legitimately owe you, a good majority of us don't!
Do us all a favor, get a job at McDonalds. You'll probably make the same money and fell better about it in the long run.
