I get a big kick out people always saying that "someone" had to sell a number. A phone number is 10 digits. If I dial the right 10 digits, it will cause your phone to ring. I don't need your number to do that. I only need your number if I want to address you by your name. If no one could ever call someone without knowing that particular number, there would have never been "wrong number" calls ever since phones were invented.
Gringo but I speak fluent Spanish. They are selling a calling card to call International. I suspect the phone company sells our info to scammers as someone who might call internationally. (I do call friends in Spain infrequently) Thus the reason we get solicited for this crap.
