Received a robocall regarding our "google business listing" and how it has not been activated. The consequences of this are that our customers will not be able to find us online. This is a common script for SEO sales people.
As with all these unknown calls, we let this one (Campobello SC) go to voicemail. The female voice began talking the second that VM answered. So two voices were talking at the same time - the robot caller and our voicemail. Both of them babbling along together. And the recorder had not yet begun, so the robot caller accomplished absolutely nothing. All I got out of this mishmash was that "we've been trying to reach you." Well, that's nothing new. This caller and a thousand others have been "trying to reach" us. Thank God for caller ID and voice mail.
