This number has called me 3 times today. When I answer they hang up. I called back and the number states that it is not in service. I blocked it from calling me again.
This number calls me 4 times a day sometimes, asks if I'm "Mrs. Jackson", I say no, they hang up. Same guy calls even after I say they have the wrong number. I had to auto-reject the calls, but my phone still alerts me when they call. So far it's been 3 calls from him today.
I first got called from this number on Dec 5 to my landline. They called three times. I think I was only home once but didn't pick up. Left no message any of the three times. Then, today, Dec 7, this number called me four times. I wasn't home for the first three (no message left) but was home for the fourth (at 7:45 PM) and answered. A gentleman asked for someone who hasn't been at this number for 11 years. I said "he can no longer be reached at this number," and the man said "well, ok then" and hung up. It will be interesting to see if I get another call from this number.
My phone has rung several times a day from this number for the past two weeks (at least). Obviously I do not answer numbers I do not recognize. I get calls from other numbers also, but this one is very persistant. It is obviously some type of scam. The area code is from the western section of South Carolina.
