This was a call from the CARE (http://www.care.org/) organization, who I have repeatedly tried to remove myself from their list. I regret donating to them, as it seems all of my donations go to spamming me. I think they've gotten smart, as they called from my own area code, so I naturally thought they might actually know me or at least just had a wrong number I could correct them on.
The gentleman on the line was very polite when I requested to be removed from their list.
