Called at 6:36 and 6:37 PM tonight & left message saying I'd requested health insurance online. This call comes conspicuously after the time I began but haven't completed enrolling in a program - in a state other than NY. Upon listening to the voice mail, the number that I am supposed to call back is a CA number. I don't trust this caller at all, he didn't say he was with any company and his tone and inflection sounded very casual/non professional.
Had a water damage lead on Thumbtack. Customer, Carl Fredrick, asked for a # he could text info to. He texted me that he had purchased a property but didn't have the key. Said he owed broker $5,000. Could I charge his personal card $6,000, once funds cleared, I should give broker $5,000 & keep $1,000 as down payment for services. I asked for exact address of property - changed from Aurora, to Chicago to Arlington Hts but no exact address. I finally told him no, I wouldn't help him with this. He begged me for help but I finally ened matter.
Craigslist scammer. Wants to mail a blank check to purchase a machine. Didn't ask about the machine. Indian accent. Don't fall for it because the check will bounce
